Future ShiftMobs

Party with Purpose at the World's First ShiftMob on June 25!

Thursday, June 25, 2009 5:00-9:00 pm
Harvest Co-op Market and Clear Conscience Café on 581 Massachusetts Ave in Central Square

  • Five different local musicians performing every hour

  • Delightful local food samplings and products from local food folks inside and outside the store

  • Short and inspirational presentations by the Cambridge Vice Mayor Sam Seidel, City Counselor Henrietta Davis, Cambridge Local First and 10% Shift leaders, and Harvest and Clear Conscience Café owners and managers.

  • Learn about the high level of sustainable business practices the Harvest Coop and Clear Conscience Café are practicing as part of Cambridge’s first Sustainable Business Leader Program (SBLP).

  • Contribute food for Food for Free, a Cambridge organization that feeds the hungry and the homeless

ShiftMobs are a way of demonstrating our support for locally-owned businesses by focusing a tremendous attention and money on one or two Local Independents.  Although, the focus is the Harvest Co-op Market and the Clear Conscience Cafe, the primary purpose is to promote all Local Independents and to encourage businesses, nonprofits, government agencies, and residents in making the 10% Shift.

Click here to find out about the 10% Shift at 10PercentShift.org and learn about how you can Make the Shift and help build strong and vibrant communities.
